Fresh off our domination of the Snowbird Nationals where we won 3 out of 6 classes, Team Corally rolled into Conneticut for the 2005 ROAR US Carpet Nationals. Our success carried on from the Birds as immediately shown in practice the Corally cars were a strong force.

Team Driver Chris Tosolini quickly established himself as a contender for the overall win early in Modified practice. Chris had his RDX dialed in and flying low. In the popular Stock and 19T classes we saw a mix of fast team drivers. New Team Driver Furman Walker got his car setup and dialed in and pulled off double A-main positions. Jeff Cuffs, winner of two classes at the Snowbird Nationals challenged hard for the TQ spot in Stock class as well.

The first day of qualifying Chris Tosolini was up front and on pace as we suspected. The qualifying was tight in the modified class as there were multiple round winners. Chris ended up pulling out the TQ over the fine field of drivers and reserved an excellent position on the starting grind for the Triple A-mains.

Chris proceeded to take full advantage of his TQ spot by checking on the field by over half a lap in the first A-main. Chris' RDX was in prime position to take the overall win with another A-main win. Chris wasted no time in the second A-main and wanted to end this chase early. Chris took the second A-main clinching him the 2005 ROAR Touring Modified US Carpet National Championship!

Team Corally would like to Thank Chris for his fine performance and to all of Team Corally for an excellent showing in all A-mains! Congratulations!
