CorallyUSA headed to Cleveland for the 26th Annual US Indoor Champs. After such a successful 2005 season we were confident
on the results to come. Out of the gate it was obvious we came to win. Jeff Cuffs' ride was dialed as he took TQ in Round 1
and never let go of it. Cuffs held onto TQ after every round showing he was poised to take the title. Five RDX cars made
the Stock A-main. Dayger, Bradley, Denton and Herrmann joined Cuffs in the Top 10 setting up a Corally RDX dominated A-main.
Fresh into his Corally RDX ride Ray Darroch looked strong in his first Modified race with the car. Locking down a position
in the A-main in Round 3, only to further improve his time in the final round. Awesome job to Ray on making the difficult
Modified TC A-main!
Stock Touring A-main lined up and took off. Dayger had an incredible start from 8th spot by moving up to Top 3 in the first
2 laps. Dayger got by 2nd place and started to slowing catch Cuffs who had been cruising out in front. The race had about
one minute left and Dayger was on the bumper of Cuffs now and put an inside pass around the start/finish line! Dayger held
on for the last 2 laps and crossed to take the 2005 US INDOOR CHAMPS TITLE! After crossing the line Dayger simply stepped
off the drivers stand and tossed his radio! Luckily fellow RDX driver Jim Herrmann was there to catch the radio. Dayger
was pumped to say the least.
Congratulations to Jeff Dayger on the win and Jeff Cuffs for his domination of qualifying and very fine 2nd place finish!
Awesome race guys!
